Job Info –

• Study fashion trends and anticipate designs that will appeal to consumers.

• Decide on a theme for a collection.

• Select fabrics, embellishments, colors, or style for each garment.

• Analyzing the fashion market trends.

• Designing samples for Men’s Formal & Casual.

• Coordinating with the production department.

• Present design ideas to the creative director or showcase them in fashion or trade shows.

• Oversee the final production of their designs.

• Decide on a theme for a collection.

• Identify target markets for designs, looking at factors such as age, gender, and socioeconomic status.

• Supervising performance of assistant and trainee fashion designers and guiding them through the latest fashion trends in the industry.

• Working on reports indicating fashion trends and designs for the next financial year.

• Technical skills in areas such as pattern cutting, grading and garment construction.

• Developing a pattern that is cut and sewn into sample garments and supervising the creation of these, including fitting, detailing and adaptations.

• Sound knowledge of design and manufacturing process.

• Proven ability to manage and guide teams of budding designers.

• Rich experience of administering production teams.

• Diverse experience of 4 years in conceptualizing, designing, and managing various collections of clothing and accessories.

• Being involved in every phase of production process right from planning, through developing designs and production management.

• Designing clothing and accessories for three collections (Summer, winter & Autumn) every year and displaying them.
